Despite advances in the production of plastics from synthetic materials, rubber can still not be completely abandoned. For example, if car tires are made only of synthetic plastic, they heat up very quickly, which is why about 50% of rubber is used in each tire ring. From its raw materials, after performing interactions, various types of tires are made, which are mainly used in tire manufacturing, shoe making, all vehicles, buildings and other industries. Rubber is one of the most essential materials in modern life. Due to its extraordinary elastic properties, rubber is used to make a variety of products, including hospital supplies, home appliances and toys. There is a growing interest in rubber trees and their extracts like latex and rubber latex. The most commonly used and well known is rubber produced through tapping the rubber trees. The raw material is extracted from the rubber tree sap and then it is processed and turned into different forms of rubber.

Rubber is taken from certain plants. In fact, there are more than 400 types of plants from which different amounts of rubber are obtained. Most of the world’s natural rubber is produced by the Hiva Brazilins. This tree, which is more than 35 meters long, is native to Brazil. Currently, the world’s largest source of natural rubber is located in Malaya, Southeast Asia.

To make rubber, they first make a slit in the trunk of the tree and then collect the white leachate that comes out of the slit. The leachate is flaked after it hardens and dries. In this way, raw rubber sheets are prepared for export to other countries. It is interesting to know that raw rubber is a loose and viscous material and does not have much elasticity. They increase the strength and elasticity of rubber by adding sulfur. This is called (vulcanization). After vulcanization, fillers (usually carbon dioxide) are added to the rubber to increase its elasticity and strength. After these steps, raw rubber is converted into a material with high elasticity and is used. Of course, this method of producing rubber is very expensive. Modern plastic is made without the use of milk white sap. It is made from fossil fuels and petroleum and can be made from many other natural materials meanwhile since natural rubber is from nature will make less pollution for air while we have global warming and warning in all countries 

During World War II, synthetic rubber was first made on an industrial scale. Since then, many advances have been made in the field of manufacturing synthetic rubber and the quality of products has greatly increased. Synthetic rubber is more resistant to chemicals, oils and heat than natural rubber; For this reason, it is more used in industries, especially aircraft manufacturing. Since the mid-1960s, the production of synthetic rubber has surpassed that of natural rubber.
